Andaltec facilities are mainly focused on the automotive sector.

Andaltec has been progressively equipping to improve our competitiveness and the needs of our customers.

Andaltec headquarter is set in Martos, in the south of Spain. There are two buildings in the headquarter and this is its configuration:

Equipment in Andaltec can be seeing in three parts:

  • Building 1 (4.000 m²):

Photometric tunnel at Andaltec

Andaltec can develop full validation plans for automotive components. It’s mainly specialized in lighting and signalling parts.

This is the equipment for validation plans in laboratory:

  • Climatic chambers: Combined cycles of temperature and humidity.
  • Salt fog chamber: Analysis of effects derived from exposure to humid heat, water spraying and salt fog.
  • Solar box: Artificial ageing, exposure to artificial radiation.
  • Universal testing machine: For mechanical characterization.
  • Equipment to test impact resistance.
  • Devices to define the raw material of a part. Reverse engineering.
  • Devices to study optics properties of the parts.

In addition, dimensional measurements can be checked with 2 equipment:

  • 3D measurement machine by probing with big dimensions 1200x1000x3000mm.
  • High Resolution 3D Scanner.

Optics properties of Headlamps, Rearlamps and some others devices can be checked with:

  • Big photometric tunnel. 80m long, 20m wide and 4 m high
  • Shorter photometric tunnel with a goniophotometer. 25m long.
  • 3-angles retroreflectometer.
  • Integrating sphere (1 metre in diameter), used for light source characterisation.

Milling machine

The equipment in the prototype area is especially based on technologies for the construction of automotive components.

This is the main equipment to build mock-ups and short series:

  • Milling machines optimized for prototyping models and optics products.
  • Vacuum casting molds and devices.
  • Painting room with drying ovens.
  • UV Oven for high gloss finish.
  • Metallization: high vacuum metallized parts or metallic paint blasting.

Laser welding machine

The industrialization team in Andaltec work in the development of new laser machines that can be implemented in production lines of the customers.

The laser technologies we work with are 3:

  • Welding
  • Cutting
  • Ablation & decoration
