Andaltec laboratory is highly equipped to develop full validation plans for lighting and signalling products. Validation plans specifications can come from customers or proposed by Andaltec in order to ensure the correct operation of the products throughout their useful life.
The laboratory equipment is very complete:
Combined cycles of temperature and humidity. We simulate extreme conditions for high and low temperatures and humidity. Thermal shock tests can be developed too, with drastic temperature changes.
Climatic chamber
Analysis of effects derived from exposure to humid heat, water spraying and salt fog.
Salt fog chamber
Accelerated aging. Products are exposed to artificial UVA radiation and we can define how long they are going to be without aesthetical or functional modifications. Day and night cycles can be programmed and rainy cycles too.
Solar box
Some of the tests run with the product switch on. We can control how and when headlamps and rearlamps are going to be working with their different functions (low beam, high beam, tail, fog, turn indicator ….).
